Make a difference in the lives of youth with BGC Okanagan's Youth Outreach Program in Salmon Arm. This role focuses on building resilience, facilitating skill-building, and fostering healthy relationships.
As a Case Manager, you will work closely with young people to identify their needs and provide tailored support. Your responsibilities will include developing intervention plans, conducting sessions, and evaluating progress. Collaborating with families and community services is crucial for guiding youth towards greater independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather information on youths’ needs through interviews and observations
• Implement evidence-based intervention strategies within guidelines
• Conduct skill-building sessions on communication and self-management
• Report on youths’ progress and adjust plans as necessary
• Promote and coordinate with community services for additional support
Requirements:
• Diploma in a related field or equivalent experience
• First Aid Certification required
• Clean Class 5 driver’s license
• Successful completion of criminal background check
• Commitment of 28.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
