Citi is seeking a Java Backend Developer to enhance CitiDirect’s Payment architecture. This full-time role focuses on Core Java and modern technologies, including Spring and Apache Kafka.
As an Assistant Vice President at Citi, you will play a crucial role in modernizing our payment systems. The ideal candidate will have over three years of Java experience and knowledge in building microservices. You will work with high-performance Java backends, utilizing tools like MongoDB and Oracle, to ensure effective data management and integration with our services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain scalable Java-based backend services
• Implement microservices using Spring Framework 6 and Spring Boot 3
• Work on event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka
