POSITION: Career Life Explorations, Career Life Connections, Leadership & Work Experience Teacher plus a grade 8/9 elective (to be determined)
APPOINTMENT: 0.857 FTE Temporary
DURATION: As soon as possible to June 30, 2027
Qualifications Required:

degree in secondary education;

recent successful classroom experience teaching at the secondary level in the subject area(s);

ability to model, teach and foster social, emotional and cultural awareness;

knowledge of current 21st century pedagogy and assessment practices;

demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting and contribute to the professionalcommunity at the school and district level;

effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and classroom management skills;

ability to integrate technologies and digital citizenship into educational programs; and

BC Professional Teaching Certificate and current eligibility for Teacher Qualification Service card.

Teacher Pay is based on years of experience and TQS category (link July 2026 Salary Grid).
