Become a Recreation Maintenance Operator with the City of Dryden and ensure well-maintained facilities while providing top-tier customer service. This full-time role is based at Dryden Recreation Complex for a term of six months.
As a Maintenance Operator, you will monitor and maintain Recreation Department facilities, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all. The position involves performing routine maintenance tasks and assisting administration to deliver exceptional customer service in a community-focused setting. Your hands-on skills in mechanical repair and service will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance on all recreation facilities
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of recreational areas
• Assist in administrative tasks and customer interaction
• Conduct minor repairs in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical
• Maintain organized and prioritized work schedules
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma required; trades focus an asset
• Basic Refrigeration Certification or similar preferred
• Valid “G” driver's license mandatory
• Demonstrated customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings
