Pay or shift range: $30 CAD to $34.98 CAD

Description CIMCO is looking for experienced Fitter-Welders for our facility in Burlington. Responsibilities include assembling, welding (MIG, TIG), blueprint reading, and quality checks. Must thrive in a unionized, team-based environment. Shifts are on rotation: Monday–Thursday at 6:00AM - 3:00PM & 2:45PM – 1:15AM & Friday at 6:00AM-12:00PM.
Role Responsibilities Using and maintaining welding machines and specialty tools
Assembling components so they are ready for installation
Reading and interpreting project plans
Performing MIG, TIG and other types of welding methods depending on the project
Finding and fixing faults in pipework
Carrying out planned maintenance checks
Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals and processes.
Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are significant.
Ability to problem solve, make decisions, plan and organize jobs and tasks.
Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
Ability to work in a unionized workplace.
