We currently have an chance for a Crush/Seed Cleaning Operator at our Yorkton, SK location.
Responsibilities Operate and monitor processing equipment, including lubrication and maintenance requirements
Coordinate daily operational tasks and activities with other departments
Perform housekeeping duties in the crush/seed cleaning area
Participate in process optimization initiatives
Understand and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and procedures and general workplace rules
Participate in the day to day health and safety program by working in a safe manner at all times: Always using the required personal protective equipment
Ensuring that authorized work is completed safely




Utilizing required controls to prevent risk of exposure to hazards
Participating actively in incident investigations, training, and other health and safety initiatives
Reporting all unsafe acts and conditions and all incidents, near misses and workplace injuries/illnesses as per company procedure
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Must have grade 12 or equivalent combined with excellent written, documentation and verbal communications skills
Must have a good work performance and attendance record and be willing to work rotating shift schedule, weekends and overtime
Experience in a Manufacturing Plant environment or experience operating grain cleaners would be considered an asset
