Elevate your accounting career as a Senior Staff Accountant, working closely with managers and partners, focusing on year-end files and tax returns in a collaborative setting.
In this in-person role, you will be instrumental in preparing financial statements, reviewing various engagements, and preparing both corporate and personal income tax returns. Solid research skills in accounting and taxation, as well as excellent customer service abilities, are key to this position’s success, given the extensive client contact required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial statements and audit files with minimal Partner involvement
• Review Compilation Engagements and Tax returns efficiently
• Research accounting, auditing, and tax issues as needed
• Deliver exceptional client service through effective communication
• Execute multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines
Requirements:
• CPA designation with 2 years of public practice experience
• Proficiency in Caseware, Caseview, Profile, and Excel
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Effective time management and communication skills
• Knowledge of US tax is a plus
