Salary Range: CA$31.00 To CA$34.00 Hourly
The Fleet Mgmt. Technician function is to ensure proper workmanship is maintained on the IBC fleet and coordinate with the customer on key production and delivery requirements. Part of your day will be to inspect the totes to ensure they meet company standards and are ready for the customer’s use. The role will also require coordination with the 3 rd party service center on the status of totes being serviced and certifications. The role will be based on location at the customer and will require limited travel to customers, 3rd-party, and Hoover CS locations.
Responsibilities: Coordinate and plan IBC fleet to support the customer's production and delivery requirements
Prep IBC totes according to the work orders.
Ensure quality of the installed parts on the IBC totes according to drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with HCS Sales team for customer needs
Set up and update tank information and tracking device in the systems (i.e.,
FleetAI, etc.)
Coordinate the shipping and receiving of tanks using a scanner to maintain movements
Perform Periodic yard inventory of IBCs at customer locations
Work with third-party service facilities.
General maintenance of IBC tanks
Perform daily assigned equipment inspection.
Working at heights of 4’ and higher, and other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications: Experience with hand/power tools (impact driver, angle grinder, wrenches/ratchets, hammers, etc.).
Mechanical experience of 2 years a plus.
Physical Demands: Moderate physical effort, which requires standing for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to climb, bend, and stoop to perform various functions of the position.
Positive hand/eye coordination and visual acuity.
