Lead impactful after school programs with BGC Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area. Seeking a dedicated Program Manager to support children ages 6-17 in a nurturing environment.
This full-time role involves planning, managing, and delivering engaging programming focused on academic support, arts, and health for youth. With two positions available, you will oversee club operations, build community partnerships, and lead a small team of staff and volunteers. Your contribution will ensure a safe and constructive atmosphere for kids and teens after school.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and manage programs for students ages 6-17
• Ensure a safe, engaging setting for teens
• Develop partnerships with local schools and agencies
• Supervise and train staff and volunteers
• Collect and maintain program performance data
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in child/youth care or related field
• 2 years supervisory experience in youth programming
• Understanding of child development and community resources
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
• Flexible schedule including evenings and summer shift
