Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Geothermal Energy Engineer to lead their innovative geothermal energy projects, working remotely. You will be instrumental in advancing our client's geothermal portfolio, overseeing technical aspects from resource assessment to plant design and optimization. Key Responsibilities Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of geothermal power generation projects.
Conduct geological surveys, reservoir assessments, and feasibility studies for potential geothermal sites.
Oversee the drilling, completion, and well testing processes for geothermal wells.
Develop and optimize power plant designs, including thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and surface plant systems.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with drilling teams, plant operators,



and external consultants through virtual communication channels.
Stay abreast of advancements in geothermal technology, exploration techniques, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements Master's degree or PhD in Geothermal Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in the geothermal energy industry.
Proven expertise in geothermal resource assessment, reservoir modeling, and well engineering.
Strong understanding of geothermal power plant cycles (e.g., binary, flash steam) and related equipment.
Experience with project management and knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and remote collaboration skills.
