In this role, you will conduct essential research and analysis, providing technical support for policies that address systemic issues in First Nations communities. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, you will drive initiatives that advocate for the needs and rights of First Nations individuals, families, and communities, ensuring policy effectiveness and relevance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research and analyze trends impacting policies
• Develop proposals and report findings for leadership
• Engage with intergovernmental and community partners
• Facilitate program meetings and collect necessary data
• Monitor implementation of recommendations from reports
Requirements:
• University degree in Political Science preferred
• 3-5 years in relevant policy experience
• Familiarity with First Nations communities and issues
• Solid analytical and communication abilities
• Proven skills in stakeholder engagement and facilitation
