Job Description: As a member of the Adult services team and under the general direction of the Manager, the primary goal will be to restore, maintain and enhance the recovery of people seeking help for addiction and/or addiction related issues through the implementation of addiction recovery programs.
Addiction best practices will be utilized to improve client outcomes. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Knowledge of community resources in the addictions field.
- Accurately triage addiction(s), collectively develop a recovery and case plan.
- Knowledge in Transtheoretical model of change
- Knowledge in holistic addictions treatment model
- Knowledge of therapeutic tools such as Motivational Interviewing and CBT.
- Ability to deliver workshops and lecture material to clients.
