About the Role Our client is seeking a meticulous and thorough Blockchain Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality for their products in Kimberley . In this essential role, you will be responsible for testing and verifying the functionality, security, and performance of our blockchain applications and smart contracts. Your efforts will directly contribute to delivering reliable and robust solutions to our users in the competitive Crypto & Blockchain market. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses a strong understanding of QA methodologies, and has a specific interest in the unique challenges of testing blockchain technology.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for blockchain applications and smart contracts.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to identify defects.
Test smart contract functionality and ensure they operate as per specifications under various conditions.
Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Report defects clearly and concisely, track their status,



and verify fixes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies within the team.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on testing web applications or software.
Familiarity with blockchain technology , smart contracts, and decentralized applications.
Experience in manual and automated testing, preferably with scripting languages.
Understanding of testing principles, defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira), and test management software.
Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
