Key Responsibilities:
• Actively monitor all participants during swimming activities
• Provide swim instruction for individuals and groups
• Assist in emergency situations in the pool setting
• Record and communicate lesson progress to guardians
• Ensure compliance with YMCA policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Current Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard Certificate
• Must possess Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification
• YMCA Swim Instructor or equivalent certification required
• Prior lifeguard or aquatics volunteer experience is an asset
• Positive role model with strong interpersonal skills
