This role at CJHS focuses on aiding youth aged 15-24, particularly those at risk of homelessness. You'll work collaboratively within the Roofs for Youth program to help individuals navigate complex systems, including justice and social services. Your efforts will empower these young people to gain essential life skills and achieve personal goals through compassionate support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise youth in a home-like setting
• Role model healthy behavior and independence skills
• Collaborate on youth goal plans with caseworkers
• Navigate routine or crisis scenarios using restorative practices
• Facilitate recreational, educational, and community involvement
Requirements:
• Degree/diploma from a recognized institution
• Over 2 years supporting at-risk individuals
• Thrive in fast-paced, creative environments
• Police Information Check and Child Intervention Check
• Availability for various shifts including nights/weekends
