TheInformationTechnology (IT)Clerkwillbe responsible forfacilitatingadministrative componentsinsupport of the Student Information System (SIS) applicationssuch as PowerSchool, Safe Arrival, School Messenger, Power Scheduler, and Enrollment/registration. This role will also administratively supportthe GNSPES platform.The Clerk willtake direction from the IT team to process password changes, enroll and update student information, andassistthe team with administrative tasks. TheClerk willattend regularmeetings and work withthe teamin the decision-making processandprepare all necessary documentation relating to this function.The Clerk will alsoprovidesupport for other initiatives withinInformation TechnologyServices.Working in a clientservice-basedenvironment, theITClerkreports directly to the Coordinator,Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities
TheInformation TechnologyClerkshall perform those tasks assigned by the Coordinator,Information Technology. These tasks may vary from time to time and may include butnot be limited to the following:

Provide administrative support to theStudent Information Systems and Registration teams;
Complete task-basedassignments such as updating passwords, creating user accounts, andassistingschool staffwith support in PowerSchool and/or GNSPES asrequired;
Prepareagenda,meetingnotesandrun reportsformonthlyteammeetings;
PrepareandforwardauthorizedandapprovedfinancialformstoFinanceforpayment;
Respondtogeneralinquiriesrelatingtothe PowerSchool or GNSPES systems,SchoolMessenger,SafeArrival, andEduPostsystems;
LiaisewithotherDepartmentsasappropriate;
CommunicatewithTechnologyServicestomaintainelectronicforms,documents,etc.,asrequired;
Manageallcorrespondenceasrequestedbythe SIS team and the IT Coordinatorandforotheremployee groups as requested;
Provideassistanceandsupporttomanagementstaffasrequired;
ProvidesupportforinitiativeswithinInformationTechnologyServicesasrequired;
Otherdutiesasrequired.

Qualifications




CompletionofDiplomainTechnologyand/orAdministrativerelateddisciplineor acceptable combination of relevant training and experience;
Strong administrative and technology background in data management and report writing using a variety of software programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, database systems;
ExperiencewithPowerSchoolanasset.

Rate of Pay:

This is a Professional Employees Group (PEG) position classified on the Education Entities Non-Union Compensation Framework at Band 2 with an annual range starting at $42,528.
