The impact you'll make:
Reporting into the Fullfillment manager - DC Operations, the Senior Distribution Team Lead is responsible for overseeing outbound operations on the DC floor; including but not limited to ecommerce, inventory, retail ops, etc. The Senior Distribution Team Lead performs as a liaison between leadership and Distribution team.
Tasks and responsibilities performed daily contribute to providing retail stores and eCommerce customers with product required and requested. All functions performed ultimately lead to the fulfillment of units to our Community members, allowing them to meet their wellness needs, while also contributing to the overall success of Saje as a business.
The Distribution Team Lead will provide training, direction and guidance to functional teams and Distribution Associates, ensuring that operations can function effectively.
All Saje Team Membersare responsible forcontributingtoSaje’sculture andmaintaininga positive environment for themselves and their peers.
What you'll do:
Manage daily volumes and ensure work is readily available for team members throughout operational hours
Work cross-functionally with internal departments and business partners to balance labour and workload to ensure all Distribution priorities are met daily
Liaise with various teams/departments for escalated issues (CX, TX, Inventory, IT)
Ensure all departmental functions are completed within set SLAs
Ensure all departmental functions are completed with an efficient use of labour
Proficiency in utilizing Dynamics A/X (WMS)
Ensure all associates meet required expectations and KPIs daily, providing feedback, coaching and re-training where necessary
Ensure all departmental functions are completed in accordance with training and Standard Operating Procedures
Assists with the creation of all documentation to support training and Standard Operating Procedures
Ensure timely communication and escalation of any potential issues regarding people, functions, technology, labour requirements or safety hazards
Identification and execution of continuous improvement opportunities in partnership with management
Onboarding and training of current team members while providing support & coaching
Ensure all team member are working in a safe manner
Creates a team environment where all Team Members consistently experience a sense of belonging and inclusion
Comfortable communicating with a wide range of team members.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Previous experience with WMS or similar programs is an asset
Previous order fulfillment experience is an asset
1-2 years warehouse experience in a leadership role
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy is one of your key habits
Takes initiative and proactively identifies potential set backs
Team player who works productively with a wide range of people
Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
Understands and thrives in a fast-paced environment
Able to multi-task and problem solve
Able to lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 50 lbs)
Have a current OFA level 2 /Intermediate First aid certification or willing to process one within a month of employment ( company will pay for the training)

The hourly wage range on average for this position is from $22.00 - $24.00. Base pay is dependent on market location and mayvary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. In addition to your base, we offer:
