This position involves reporting to the Machine Shop supervisor on the Weekend Day shift. You'll be responsible for setting up machinery, monitoring its operation, and performing inspections to ensure precision. With a minimum of two years of machine operator experience, your expertise will guide the continuous improvement of our processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Setup and run automated machinery for aircraft production
• Monitor and troubleshoot machine performance
• Collaborate with machinists to enhance production quality
• Conduct inspections to meet stringent OSV requirements
• Participate in 5S activities and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• High school diploma and 2+ years of relevant experience
• ITAR and CCGP eligibility for Canada
• Robust verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using an overhead crane safely
• Willingness to undergo training and work overtime
