We seek a skilled Pipelayer with proven expertise in water infrastructure and civil engineering projects. You'll be responsible for the secure installation of ductile iron pipelines, ensuring compliance with specifications and site requirements. The role demands teamwork and effective communication with other operators to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install Ductile Iron (DI) pipework and associated components
• Lay, align, and joint pipes to required specifications
• Conduct pipe bedding and backfilling activities
• Collaborate with excavator operators for safe installation
• Interpret engineering drawings and pipe-laying plans
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Pipelayer or Pipe Fitter
• Hands-on experience with Ductile Iron Pipework
• Strong understanding of jointing methods and installation
• Ability to read technical drawings accurately
• Awareness of health and safety regulations
