Overview
As part of the Department of Corporate Services, the City of Humboldt is currently seeking to fill one (1) temporary, full time Administrative Clerk position anticipated to last until approximately October 2027, with the possibility of extension. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services or designate, the Administrative Clerk will be performing general administrative duties within City Hall. Such duties may include; front counter bill payments, answering phones, providing information to the public, receiving messages, bank deposits, filing, accounts receivable, and all other duties assigned by Corporate Services Administration.

Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration or a related field of study

Ability to provide record keeping, administration and filing





Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is an asset

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Team player with excellent communication and customer service skills

Satisfactory Criminal Record Check

Compensation

This is an in-scope position under CUPE 2359 with a starting rate of pay of $24.48 per hour

Employees are eligible for the employer matched defined pension plan, annual paid vacation days, and a comprehensive health and wellness plan

General work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with an earned day off every fourth week
