In this pivotal role, you will develop and manage relationships across academic, industry, and not-for-profit sectors in the Okanagan and Thompson-Okanagan regions. Your mission will be to connect the needs of local organizations with academic talent and resources, enhancing Mitacs' programming and impact. Managing a diverse portfolio, you will act as a trusted advisor, guiding partnerships from inception through development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage a diverse regional portfolio of partnerships
• Engage with post-secondary institutions and industry leaders
• Identify and advance high-value collaborative opportunities
• Guide partnership development and project design
• Represent Mitacs at regional meetings and events
Requirements:
• Advanced degree, PhD preferred
• 3-5 years in partnership development and relationship management
• Familiarity with post-secondary research environments
• Robust consultative and communication skills
• Ability to work independently across regions
