This role offers a continuing position within the Campus Safety and Security Services at MacEwan University. Licensed under Alberta’s Security Services and Investigators Act, you will conduct extensive patrols, manage emergencies, and provide essential community support. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to make rapid decisions in high-pressure situations are vital for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor security systems and respond to alarms
• Mentor the campus community on safety initiatives




• Conduct thorough patrols of campus facilities
• Manage crowd control and unauthorized access
• Compile detailed incident reports for investigations

Requirements:
• Valid security services licensing in Alberta
• Current First Aid certification
• Relevant post-secondary education preferred
• Previous experience in security or customer service
• Flexibility for 24/7 scheduling requirements
