Become a vital part of Lookout Housing and Health Society as a Part Time Cook. Prepare and serve nourishing meals in a supportive setting.

This role focuses on cooking and serving meals for adults with low or no income. You will report to the Site Manager, helping ensure cleanliness and food availability. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in a related field and relevant certifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, cook, and serve meals and snacks daily
• Ensure food availability for guests outside regular hours
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
• Supervise and support kitchen volunteers
• Follow nutrition and supply requirements of the menu

Requirements:
• Grade 12 education and Cooking Diploma required
• Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 and FOODSAFE Certificate
• Two years of relevant experience in large organizations
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Criminal Record Clearance for Vulnerable Sector
