Manager, Business Financial Analytics About World Fuel World Fuel is a global leader in energy, logistics, and sustainability solutions, serving customers across aviation, marine, land, and government markets. We're looking for a highly analytical, business-minded finance leader to join our North America Land organization as Manager, Business Financial Analytics. This role serves as a strategic finance partner to senior business leaders, translating financial data into actionable insights that drive profitable growth, operational excellence, and better decision-making across the organization. About the Role Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, North America Land, you will lead financial planning, business performance analysis, forecasting, and decision support activities for a large and dynamic business segment. You will oversee a team of finance professionals while partnering closely with leaders across Sales, Operations, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Shared Services to drive performance, improve profitability, and support strategic initiatives. This is a highly visible leadership role with direct exposure to executive leadership and meaningful influence on business strategy.
What You'll Do Business Partnership & Performance Leadership Serve as a trusted finance advisor to business and operational leaders. Provide financial insights and recommendations that drive growth, profitability, and operational performance. Develop business cases, pricing analyses, investment evaluations, and strategic recommendations.



Establish and monitor KPIs, performance scorecards, and financial metrics. Lead business reviews with senior leadership and support strategic decision‑making. Partner on growth initiatives, capital investments, and M&A; evaluations as needed.
Financial Planning & Analysis Lead annual planning, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes. Deliver timely financial reporting, variance analysis, and business performance insights. Improve forecast accuracy and planning effectiveness. Develop and enhance financial models, reporting tools, and forecasting methodologies. Ensure compliance with corporate planning and reporting requirements.
Analytics & Continuous Improvement Lead business analytics initiatives focused on customer profitability, operational efficiency, and financial performance. Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and executive‑level analytics. Leverage Power BI, Tableau, Oracle, and other technologies to improve decision support capabilities. Drive automation, standardization, and process improvements across finance operations. Improve data quality, reporting consistency, and business visibility.
Financial Governance & Controls Support strong financial controls, compliance, and risk management practices. Partner with Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Shared Services teams. Support audit readiness, SOX compliance, and risk mitigation activities. Identify and address key financial and operational risks.
Team Leadership Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals. Create development plans and succession opportunities. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Build organizational capability and strengthen finance business partnership skills across the team.
What You'll Bring Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business,



or a related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A;, finance, business analytics, accounting, or related disciplines.
3-5+ years of people leadership experience.
Strong financial planning, forecasting, business partnering, and reporting experience.
Experience supporting senior leadership through financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and driving change.
Preferred Qualifications CPA, CMA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent professional certification.
Experience in energy, logistics, transportation, distribution, or related industries.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Oracle, and enterprise planning tools.
Continuous improvement, automation, and process optimization experience.
