Rate of Pay: Commensurate with education and experience.

Reporting to the Senior Payroll and Benefits Administrator, the Payroll and Benefits Practitioner provides administrative support for payroll, employee compensation and benefits functions. The position maintains accurate employee information, supports payroll and benefits-related processes, reporting, reconciliations and compliance requirements and provides backup payroll processing coverage, as required. The role supports the administration of Group Benefits, EFAP and Group RRSP plans within a centralized payroll and benefits workplace.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an environment with multiple collective agreements, using Quadrant Workforce or an equivalent system and administering an employer benefits plan. A Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation and the above experience are considered assets. Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently, clearly and effectively.

Continuing Care Home Type B (supportive living/SL4), Continuing Care Home Type B Secure (SL4D), Continuing Care Home Type A (long term care and complex care), and Home and Community Care Type 2.
