Serve the Township of Langley as a Utilities Maintenance Worker in a full-time capacity within the Public Works Division. Undertake crucial maintenance tasks for sewer systems and utilities operations.

This semi-skilled position reports to the Manager, Utilities Operations within a unionized framework. You will perform various maintenance duties that include working collaboratively with technical crews while demonstrating initiative and safe working habits. Your role will be essential in sustaining sanitary sewer infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct cleaning and maintenance for lift station wet wells
• Oversee maintenance of force main air valves
• Perform maintenance for valves and blowdown systems




• Service sanitary sewage pumps and stormwater maintenance
• Maintain mobile generators and lift station operations

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent training
• Proficient in sewer construction and maintenance practices
• Adept knowledge of safety protocols in utilities
