About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Remote IT Network and Systems Administrator to manage and maintain their IT infrastructure. This fully remote position requires a proactive individual capable of overseeing network operations, server management, cloud services, and end-user support without direct on-site supervision. You will be responsible for ensuring the security, availability, and performance of all IT systems, implementing solutions, and resolving technical issues. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain server infrastructure (physical and virtual), including operating systems and applications.
Manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure optimal connectivity and security.
Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
Provide remote technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures,



including backups, disaster recovery plans, and endpoint protection.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the IT infrastructure.
Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT network and systems administration.
Proven expertise in managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or CISSP are highly advantageous.
