We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Developer to support the analysis, design, development, integration, and testing of enterprise software solutions. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, contribute to architecture activities, and collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

Assignment Details:
This position requires onsite work Monday through Friday, 7.25 hours per day, during standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities

Perform requirements analysis in collaboration with business analysts.

Create solution design and architecture artifacts including conceptual, logical, and physical designs.

Support architecture review and checkpoint activities.

Conduct solution design walkthroughs.

Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides.

Design, develop, code, and integrate system components and solutions.

Perform unit testing and integration testing.

Develop test cases for unit and integration testing.

Collaborate with testing teams to develop functional, performance, and vulnerability test cases.

Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions and walkthroughs for project team members.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers, analysts, and testers.

Support solution design reviews and code walkthroughs.

Contribute to project planning, estimation, and delivery activities.

Required Qualifications
Technical Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience developing IT systems in multi-platform environments, including web, desktop, mobile, and enterprise systems.

Strong experience with multi-tier architectures and open-standard technologies including:

Solid understanding of systems analysis, architecture, design methodologies, application development, and emerging technologies.

Systems Development & Integration

Advanced experience designing, developing, and integrating full-stack multi-tier enterprise solutions.

Strong expertise with:

REST API integrations

SOAP/WSDL web services

JSON/XML messaging

Modern user interface technologies and frameworks

Third-party application and service integrations

Experience using design and development tools such as:

Microsoft Visio

PowerDesigner

Eclipse

IntelliJ IDEA

Technical Leadership

Experience leading development teams through full software delivery lifecycles.

Ability to conduct solution architecture reviews and code walkthroughs.

Experience providing technical leadership to cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of:

Project management methodologies

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and incidents.

Strong systems debugging, optimization, and refactoring experience.

Experience evaluating technical alternatives and recommending effective solutions.

Understanding of IT security principles and quality assurance practices.

Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience working collaboratively with project teams and external stakeholders.

Strong stakeholder engagement, consulting, and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and deadlines.

Public Sector Experience

Understanding of government policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.

Familiarity with IT architecture governance, security, privacy, and compliance considerations within public sector environments.

Must-Have Skills

Large-scale systems analysis, design, and development expertise.

Full-stack multi-tier application development and systems integration.

Advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving, and design leadership capabilities.
