The mission we are proposing:
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Technician plays a key role in the administrative support of the plant's HR operations. In collaboration with his/her HR business partner (PARH), he/she manages administrative files, the HR information system (HRIS), employee benefits and disability files and the CNESST or any other mandate necessary to achieve HR objectives for the departments he/she is in charge of.
An overview of your new position
Ensure the follow-up and management of various HR files in support of the PARH.
Maintain and update employee data, generate reports, and ensure the integrity of information in the HRIS.
Take charge of the coordination and modification of employee files (change of status, salary, personal information, etc.).
Ensure that employee files are updated and HR policies and procedures are applied.
Take care of closing employee files upon departure and coordinate the exit interview with our external partner.
Follow up on absences, manage communications with insurers and the CNESST, participate in accident investigations and coordinate returns to work.
Administer benefits programs, answer employee questions, and liaise with suppliers.
Coordinate vaccination campaigns, periodic health check-ups or any other event related to the health of employees.
Administer the recognition programs developed by the PARH and coordinate social activities.
Write and post press releases, including the newsletter.
Support the HR team at the KPI level.
To take care of the renewal of the program for the staggering of hours with the CNESST.
Administer immigration applications through our external partner's platform.
Support the Talent Acquisition Advisor as needed by participating in activities related to recruitment, onboarding of new employees and training.
Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor as required by operational requirements.
You are the ideal candidate if you have
DEC or AEC in office automation, administration or other equivalent training in a related discipline.
Knowledge of labour laws, the CNESST and employee benefit plans.
2 years of experience in human resources and disability file management (staff and CNESST)
Good command of computer tools (Office Suite) and HR systems (Ceridian DayForce an asset).
Experience in immigration case administration (an asset)
Bilingualism (French and English) – required to communicate with certain team members and to understand the technical documentation provided by our clients, primarily in English.
