As part of WSP, you’ll work on vital projects addressing flood risks and water infrastructure resilience. Your role involves modeling extreme flood scenarios and developing strategies alongside industry experts. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership on hydraulic modelling tasks
• Create and validate flood models using advanced software
• Model climate-driven flood scenarios and ice hydraulics
• Participate in floodplain mapping and drainage assessments
• Train junior modellers and establish hydraulic standards
Requirements:
• 5–10 years of experience in hydrotechnical engineering
• Advanced skills with hydraulic modelling software
• Degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering
• Registered P.Eng. in Canada or eligible
• Robust project management and relationship building skills
