As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will report to the Manager while providing exceptional care for clients with active or latent TB infections. Your role involves administering medications, conducting community visits, and monitoring clients' health. Engage with diverse groups including ethical, racial, and age-diverse populations, ensuring care reflects the needs of all clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications through directly observed therapy
• Monitor and document medication effectiveness
• Conduct vital sign assessments for clients
• Provide client education on TB management
• Support TB screening and detection in communities
Requirements:
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program
• Active registration with Alberta’s nursing board
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Recent TB care or public health nursing experience
• Proficient in Connect Care and Netcare
