At CAMH, the Program Assistant will be involved in assessing and supporting clients, emphasizing a client-centered approach. You'll be responsible for observing clients and accompanying them to off-site medical appointments as needed. This position includes flexible hours, with 12-hour shifts that may include nights and weekends at 1051 Queen Street West.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess designated clients and provide care
• Maintain a secure environment to minimize agitation
• Document observations and client responses
• Escort clients for medical clearances and appointments
• Uphold teamwork and diversity standards

Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary School diploma
• Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare preferred
• Personal Care Worker Certificate or enrollment in relevant study
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with mental health issues preferred
