Role Summary PTW is seeking local Journeyman Instrumentation to join our team in Whitecourt, AB. This role involves construction and maintenance instrumentation work on industrial projects in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, dependable, and experienced in troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting instrumentation systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation systems and equipment
Perform construction and maintenance instrumentation work on industrial projects
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications
Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations
Complete required job documentation, reports, and maintenance records accurately
Work collaboratively with supervisors, project teams, and other trades
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
Qualifications / Requirements Must be an indentured Instrumentation Apprentice or certified Journeyman
Construction and maintenance instrumentation experience required
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills




Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as within a team environment
Reliable and dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety
Valid safety certifications required: CSO
Standard First Aid
TDG
WHMIS
ESC Fall Protection
H2S Alive

Valid Class 5 Driver's License required
Must be authorized to work in Canada
Must be local to Whitecourt or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate
Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation and perks package
Shift options: 4/3 or 5/2
Opportunity to work 8 to 12 hours per day based on workload requirements
