What Y ou’ll Actually Be Doing :
Helping run our wellness, benefits, performance, and recognition programs
Supporting our RRSP and 401(k) administration
Leading our Co-op/Summer Student recruitment (and managing the grant paperwork that comes with it)
Coordinating interviews across departments - juggling calendars with hiring managers and panels
Putting together reports and letters (headcount, employment confirmations, comp statements, travel letters - you name it)
Owning our HRIS from top to bottom, making sure the data's clean and updated
Supporting the whole employee journey, onboarding through offboarding
Supporting our employee survey program through CultureAmp
Planning company events, like our monthly Town Halls
Bringing fresh ideas to our programs and policies - we want you to make things better, not just keep them running
Writing our People Ops newsletter and other employee comms
Helping run Open Farm University
Keeping our office clean, safe, and welcoming for the team and visitors
Managing our vendors (cleaning, maintenance, supplies - the whole list)
Keeping supplies, snacks, and equipment stocked
Setting new hires up for day one (desk, gear, access badge)
Being the go-to person when something in the office needs fixing
Helping keep us compliant on health and safety
What You Bring To The Table:
A love of pets (this one's non-negotiable)
Real empathy and strong people skills
You're proactive - you don't wait to be told what to do
You're comfortable when things are a little messy or unclear
You take ownership and follow through
You can juggle a lot of people and priorities without dropping the ball
You know how to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
You pick up current systems and tools quickly (HRIS, CultureAmp, scheduling platforms, etc.)
You've got an eye for detail, especially when it comes to data accuracy and compliance
You're happy wearing a lot of hats and shifting gears throughout the day
You care about company culture and the employee experience - not just the admin side of HR
Bonus points if you've got experience with both Canadian and US HR practices, since our team spans both

Compensation:
The hiring range for this role is $ 50 ,000 - $ 5 5 ,000 annually, with final compensation thoughtfully aligned to your experience, skills, and the value you bring. This position may also include additiona l rewards such as performance-based bonuses and other incentives.
