Maintenance Planners - Base Plant Mine - Relocation Assistance - Fort McMurray, AB

Suncor is seeking experienced Maintenance Planners to join their Upgrading Planning team at the Base Plant Mine in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This role involves developing and scheduling maintenance work packages to ensure secure, reliable, and cost-effective asset performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for supporting operational integrity in a dynamic plant environment.

What You’ll Need

- 5 or more years of planning and/or scheduling experience with equivalent technical and operational experience in the industry
- Mechanical trade certificate, diploma, or degree
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP (work management, materials management, planning, scheduling, procurement)
- Extensive knowledge of rotating and fixed equipment, piping, pumps, compressors, and technical drawings
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary work across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and/or civil disciplines is an asset
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, KPI management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Mandatory relocation to within 60 km of Fort McMurray if residing outside the area
