Position Summary: This Teaching Assistant offers support for delivering an undergraduate in-person course by assisting with marking assignments and other related duties as assigned. MAP 101 is a 6-week course and student assignments will be ongoing and consistent during this time. Grading and deadlines will come up quickly.
Position Requirements Must be a registered M.F.A, MA, or 4th-year student at the University of Regina.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to mark student assignments, including essays. Familiarity with UR Courses, APA , MLA , Chicago Citation and Turnitin are assets.
Preference will be given to senior undergraduate students or graduate students in MAP , Education, Arts, or students with related academic experience.
Physical Demands Pay Grade: As Per CUPE 2419.
Salary Range: As per CUPE 2419 Collective Agreement.
Status: Term.
Work Hours: Hours are flexible and will be determined by the instructor in consultation with the successful candidate, up to 70 hours (a maximum of 1 hour per registered student) per section.
MAP 101-991 is scheduled for Tuesday evenings from 1900-2145 in the fall 2026 semester.




The Final exam is scheduled in-person for Tuesday, December 15, 2026 from 1900-2200.
Additional hours must be approved by the instructor or Assoc. Dean-UG of MAP.
Course Modality: face to face delivery.

Full-Time/Part time: Part Time Preference.
