Certified Group is expanding and looking for a dedicated Microbiology Technician. You will prepare samples for testing, maintain media and reagents, and uphold quality control measures. Your responsibilities will include performing aseptic techniques while collaborating with the Food Safety Net Services Team to meet testing goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare samples for microbiological and indicator organism testing
• Apply aseptic techniques in daily lab processes
• Maintain media and reagents for microbiological tasks
• Inventory necessary supplies for testing requirements
• Perform lab cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks

Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED required
• Associate degree in Life Science preferred
• Two years of lab experience is advantageous
• Broad knowledge of food testing laboratory practices
• Ability to travel may be required
