About the Role Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Remote Quality Assurance Engineer to enhance their manufacturing product quality and process integrity, supporting operations potentially based in Kimberley . This fully remote role demands a proactive approach to identifying and rectifying quality issues before they impact production or customers. You will develop and implement robust QA strategies, conduct thorough audits, and collaborate virtually with engineering and production teams to uphold the highest standards. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, possesses robust analytical skills, and thrives in an independent, remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality assurance plans and procedures.
Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes, documentation, and finished products to ensure compliance.
Analyze quality data, identify root causes of defects, and propose effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
Collaborate virtually with R&D;, engineering, and production teams to integrate quality considerations into product development and manufacturing processes.
Prepare detailed quality reports, including performance metrics,



audit findings, and improvement recommendations.
Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quality assurance.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote team setting.
