Join our team as a Yard Manager, keeping our operations running smoothly through hands-on work, product handling, equipment maintenance, and product delivery.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start date.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Location Operations
Assist with the maintenance of dry fertilizer and anhydrous ammonia equipment
Assist with the maintenance of augers, including regular greasing and oil changes as needed
Assist in coordinating and executing product movement
Assist with loading and unloading product for customers and suppliers
Assist operations staff with various tasks, especially during busy season and when customers need to be served
Maintain rental equipment kept at the location
Be prepared to fill in where needed to support operations
Yard Maintenance
Maintain a clean, well-maintained yard throughout the summer.
Ensure driveways are level and free of ruts year-round.
Clear snow from driveways and walkways during the winter.
Transportation and Delivery
Transport chemical products to Horizon locations and customers
Ensure all checklists are followed and completed
Ensure vehicles are maintained according to schedule
Ensure equipment is maintained and ready for use on a daily basis
Maintain a log of problems and/or issues that require attention
Be familiar with and follow all safety procedures and protocols
If the applicant has their 1A or is able to obtain it:
Transport dry fertilizer by semi or Super B to Horizon locations and customers
Transport and deliver anhydrous ammonia to customers in the field
Ensure the truck is serviced and maintained with assistance from shop technicians as required

Qualifications:
A valid class 5 driver’s license that is in positive standing is required. It is an asset, but not required for applicants to have their 1A license.
Location:
Our office is situated just south of Cudworth, Saskatchewan, along HWY 2. Applicants are not obligated to live in Cudworth, but they should be within a reasonable driving distance, as the position is based at the Cudworth location and involves working in the surrounding area.
