About the Role Our client is looking for a creative and intuitive Junior UX/UI Designer to join their product development team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your design talents from anywhere within South Africa. You will collaborate with product managers and developers to design user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications, focusing on usability, aesthetics, and user experience. This role is ideal for a recent graduate passionate about digital design, eager to build a portfolio and gain experience in a collaborative, remote-first setting that fosters innovation and user-centric design principles.
Key Responsibilities Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications based on user research and best practices.
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
Collaborate with product managers and developers throughout the design and development process.




Ensure design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all products.
Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI design trends and technologies.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
A portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work (web and/or mobile applications).
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for a work from home environment.
