Based at our Edmonton location, the Estimator/Applications Engineer supports the Sales & Estimating department. You will craft competitive proposals and accurate cost estimates based on in-depth analysis of project documentation. This position also plays a key role in collaboration with sales and execution teams to ensure project alignment and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review customer project documentation for technical requirements
• Develop accurate, compliant proposals for projects




• Communicate Powell’s compliance and provide necessary clarifications
• Create Basis of Estimate and Basis of Schedule documentation
• Collaborate with project teams to utilize estimating tools

Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 1-3 years estimating experience preferred
• Familiarity with electrical switchgear is an asset
• Proficient in AutoCAD and advanced Excel
• Understanding of local codes like Canadian Electrical Code
