Dueck Auto Group is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Perks Administrator with 1–2 years of relevant experience to support accurate, timely payroll processing and employee benefits administration across the organization. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role is suited to an organized, accurate, and attentive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: Process semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll for salaried, hourly, and commissioned employees using Payworks
Review earnings, deductions, employee changes, and other payroll information for accuracy
Process new hires, employee changes, terminations, vacation adjustments, and final pay
Prepare and process Records of Employment
Assist with year-end payroll activities, including T4 preparation
Administer benefit enrolments, changes, and terminations while maintaining accurate records
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, vacation balances, and benefits
Maintain confidential payroll and benefits documentation
Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and other payroll-related administration
Support compliance with company policies, CRA requirements, and applicable employment standards
Collaborate with the Payroll Manager, Human Resources, Department Managers, and employees to resolve issues
Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration
Strong attention to detail, numerical ability, and commitment to accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet payroll deadlines
Discretion when handling confidential employee information
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to identify discrepancies and assist with resolving payroll and benefits issues
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Experience with payroll systems; Payworks experience is an asset
General knowledge of BC Employment Standards and CRA payroll requirements
PCP designation or progress toward a payroll designation is an asset
Post-secondary education in payroll, accounting, business administration, or a related field is an asset
Logistical Requirements This is a full-time position at head office at Deuck on Marine, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with 30 minutes for lunch. Occasionally, you may be required to work extended hours to meet deadlines based on business needs.
