Become an integral part of the Davey Tree Expert Co. team as a DZ Driver and Arborist Assistant in Pickering, Ontario. Ensure safe transport of the crew and contribute your arborist skills on the job site.

In this full-time position, you will drive a commercial truck and assist with tree services. Your responsibilities will include vehicle inspections, upkeep, and joining the crew in tasks like tree pruning and removal. Your expertise ensures that every job is executed correctly and safely, enhancing the overall success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive crew and equipment to various job sites
• Perform pre and post trip inspections on the vehicle
• Maintain cleanliness of truck's interior and exterior




• Collaborate actively with the ground crew and leader
• Expertly perform tree pruning, thinning, and removal

Requirements:
• Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license required
• Background in Forestry or Horticulture preferred
• Arborist certification or willingness to pursue it
• Solid tree and shrub identification skills
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs safely
