Become a Youth Program Coordinator with George Gordon First Nation and positively influence youth lives through wellness programming. Engage in sports, culture, and recreation to build community connections.
This full time role seeks a motivated individual dedicated to supporting youth and families within the GGFN community. In this position, you will work closely with the Family Wellness Co-Ordinator to design and execute youth-focused initiatives, such as the North American Indigenous Games and FSIN Championships. Networking with local schools and community departments will enhance your program outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement youth wellness projects and activities
• Organize participation in Indigenous sporting events
• Develop community partnerships to extend program reach
• Maintain data records and prepare necessary reports
• Provide youth transportation and supervision as required
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12
• 0-6 months of experience in youth programming
• Excellent networking and communication skills
• Ability to maintain accurate data records
• Valid driver's license for youth transport
