Provides in-home support and emergency response services to clients in the home support and assisted living environment
Qualifications Graduate of an approved and recognized Personal Support Worker course in Ontario, or equivalent
Current CPR & First Aid Certificate
Registration with Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) preferred.
Client-centred care focus with solid customer service and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, problem-solve and time manage
Ability to work independently as well as be an active, positive team player
Computer literacy (MS Office).
Basic knowledge of Alayacare, Workday an asset.
Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Screen result
Ability to communicate in English and Chinese
Physical Demands/Working Conditions Considerable standing, walking, lifting and bending.
Exposure to all client care elements through regular client contact.
Shift work, including days, evenings, nights and weekends
Regular travel within the Greater Toronto and Mississauga area
Use of own vehicle
Salary Range: $20.70 - $24.35
