As an Electrical Engineer at Prairie Machine, you will work within an application engineering group to create and improve electrical systems. Your responsibilities will include assisting with design specifications, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and performing FAT testing on mining equipment. You'll contribute to the enhancement of equipment functionality while reducing costs and downtime through innovative designs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Electrical and Mechanical Design Engineers in project execution
• Identify solutions for manufacturing shortcomings and malfunctions




• Conduct FAT testing of heavy-duty mining equipment
• Design electrical power systems, including 600V and 4160V
• Utilize ETAP for load flow and short circuit analysis

Requirements:
• BSc. Engineering degree completion
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in BEV and Mining is an asset
• APEGS P.Eng. certification preferred
• Familiarity with Autodesk and low/medium voltage systems
