Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres (CATC) is hiring an Addictions Counsellor to provide vital support in our inpatient treatment team. Engage with clients through various counselling methods while managing crisis situations.

This permanent casual role requires a committed professional with a strong background in drug and alcohol counselling. You'll lead individual and group sessions, conduct intake assessments, and react quickly to emergencies. Working with a multidisciplinary team, you will enhance the recovery journey of your clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct intake assessments for new clients
• Facilitate fast-track access for walk-in patients
• Schedule and coordinate counselling sessions
• Manage referrals to additional services
• Effectively address patient emergencies

Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in drug & alcohol counselling
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Successful Criminal Reference Check required
• First Aid and CPR training preferred
• Robust communication and organizational skills
