You'll leverage advising technologies, facilitate workshops, and collaborate with faculty to enhance student transitions and graduation rates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise pre-major students using student-centered methods
• Utilize advising tools to track student progress
• Provide open advising resources for all students
• Collaborate on faculty advising and orientation initiatives
• Support first-generation programming and workshops
Requirements:
• Experience in academic advising or student success roles
• Master’s degree preferred in higher education or counseling
• Solid communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency with technology like Banner or Starfish
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
