Step into a crucial role at Civic Service Union 52 as a Labour Relations Officer. This temporary position focuses on member advocacy and collective action.

In your role, you will be a vital resource for CSU52's membership, addressing grievances, interpreting legal frameworks, and facilitating discussions. Reporting to the Director of Labour Relations, you'll also spearhead workshops and mentoring initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
• Guide members in understanding collective agreements
• Lead grievance management and resolution
• Facilitate workshops and support shop stewards
• Prepare for, and act in, arbitration and tribunal proceedings
• Oversee strategic preparations for collective bargaining

Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Labour Relations or comparable field
• Minimum of five years of experience in relevant roles
• Robust interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of union principles and advocacy
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
