The Project Officer will play a crucial role in enhancing municipal capacity to manage climate risk. This includes delivering training, webinars, and peer learning activities tailored for municipal staff and partners. Your expertise in environmental studies, climate policy, and capacity building initiatives will be key to supporting municipalities in financing sustainable projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop engaging training sessions and workshops
• Build information resources to support financing adaptation
• Facilitate learning activities for municipal stakeholders
• Measure impact of GMF-funded initiatives
• Coordinate events and logistics for team meetings
Requirements:
• 3-5 years in capacity building or adult education
• University degree in related field
• Knowledge of climate adaptation and resilient infrastructure
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and bilingual in English/French
